Slightly relieved that he would not have to carry the women out unwillingly, E’mion gave her a crooked smile as he lead her to the dance floor. Finding the women’s hands naturally going to the right places the bronzer smiled again. Putting one of his calloused hands at the small of her back, he took her hand in the other. “I give you warning, my lady, I really do not dance well sober so you’ll have to look good enough for the both of us.”
As E’mion began to lead the woman around the floor, L’nuo stood and cleared the bowls from the table. Pausing a moment to admire the delicate curves of the women in red, he continued to move to the wine rack where he picked out some strong Fortus wine and three glasses. He could tell already that not only E’mion would need it after his day, but so would the women to loosen in his own grip.

Kabhi sighed, faking dismay. "Alright, then," she said, leading him to twirl her. When she finished the twirl, she raised her arm enough to undo the knot that resulted from one partner twirling and the other not. She was not willing to make him look quite like a fool, she thought as she spun to his chest, wrapping his arm around her. Keeping the footwork simple enough, she figured the upper-body showed all the intricacies they needed. Coming out of the embrace, she turned to face him, and wished she had a skirt on to flare out and make the dance more interesting to look at. She laughed as she slipped and almost fell, the slippers she wore not made for the purpose they were serving.
Peaking out of the corner of her eye, she glanced at L'nuo, and wondered what he was thinking. She, herself, was thinking that this evening had certainly taken a turn for the better.

L’nuo poured a glass for himself and took a sip as he turned his eyes once again to the dance floor. Finding them met by what looked to be a glance from Kabhi, he smiled and waved. Taking a breath, he downed the last of the glass quickly and refilled it before making his way thru the crowed on the dance floor. Pulling out a silly dance as he tried to ‘fit in’ with the rest dancing, he looked ridiculous but didn’t care.
Finding the woman’s back to him, he placed his empty hand on her hip and brought his own waist up against her back side to move with her. Leaning down to smell her hair, he passed off the glass to E’mion who let go of his dance partner and took a good sized swig of the wine. “Thanks L’nuo. Just what I needed.”
“Mmhmm, no problem. I think it was a very fair trade.” He answered taking the riders hands in both of his now, but not allowing her to turn around to face him. He was having too much fun paying attention to her back side. The switch had been well a well practiced one and had moved smoothly.

Feeling her hands leave the Bronzers, but then become grasped by L'nuo's, she grinned. Though she felt a little wierd to be passed between the two, she accepted it, the alternative being sleep. Smiling flirtaciously, she laid her head back on his chest. He was several inches taller than she, and so the entire movement worked out beautifully. Rocking her hips back and forth, she realized that she was still dancing, though this was a different, less energy spending dance. Thinking about what he had said, she looked up at him, though she didn't bother to try turning to face him.
"Wait, so are you saying the wine is as good as I am, or I am as good as the wine?" she asked, smiling enticingly.

L’nuo smiled as he found no resistance to his taking over the dance. Perhaps he wouldn’t need the wine for her after all… Moving to the tempo, he couldn’t help but sigh happily as he found her head resting against his chest. Wrapping both their arms around her stomach, he leaned over her ever so slightly so he’d be able to whisper in her ear.
“Weither the wine is as good as your or your as good as the wine is irrelevant. The fact that I’d not hesitate to drink in as much of you as I can is what matters.” he spoke softly into her ear as he winked at E’mion. E’mion returned the wink and bowed slightly at the woman.
“It was a pleasure to meet you Kabhi, green rider of Alth. I’m afraid, however, that I have not the dancing moves of the smooth talking flirt behind you. Watch yourself tonight fair lady. I’d hate to see another fall into his clutches.”
L’nuo faked a pout and opened his mouth to complain, but E’mion was already gone. Damn him. I swear every time I find him he shoves an irresistible woman in my arms and runs off again.
Are you complaining? L’nuo smiled. No he wasn’t. What else were friends for?

Though she did not see L'nuo's wink, Kabhi did see E'mion's, and was back on her guard. This man's sweet words had talked her past her cromcoal walls and had gotten to her. Remembering not to frown, she tried not to tense completely, but her lips still pursed with anxiety. She shouldn't be here, listening to this man's sugar-words.
Maybe it'd be good for you to have a bit of fun, Alth told her.
'Tis perhapable, but at the expense of my... But Kabhi was at a loss for what exactly she'd be losing. Her dragon had been flown before, so that wasn't the issue. Frowning at E'mion's retreating figure, she almost felt like she had been handed off, a feeling which did not bode well with her.
At the expense of what? the dragon pushed.
I don't know. Maybe you're right, she said. Sometimes the green was. Nonetheless, Kabhi allowed herself to be swayed, both physically with the rider's dancing and and emotionally with his words. She wasn't exactly looking for love, and if that's what the man was after, that was too bad. But the greenrider had the feeling that that was not what L'nuo was planning for this evening.

Seeing E’mion’s figure take his normal seat at the Helios table and begin to indulge in the wine L’nuo had given him, he laughed silently at the man, that E’mion was a strange one. Realizing that the woman in his arms had not replied to him, he spun her around gracefully and placed both arms on the small of her back.
“You’ve gotten quiet.” he said giving her a smile. While he wanted to pull her closer, he refrained for now thinking words might be more useful. “Please tell me I have not smothered you speechless with my words. I only wished to please…” Hearing the music slow to match his pace (about time too, he felt he was lagging) he couldn’t help but lead the rider into a spin as the new song began.

Kabhi allowed herself to be spun, and laughed gaily. "No, dear L'nuo, just conversing with my Alth." She smiled shyly at him. "Oh, your words hit their intended target, for I am very well pleased," she told him, deciding that no amount of flirting would kill her. She ended the spin as she had done with E'mion, wrapping the rider's arms around her and hugging to his chest, and then spiriting away quickly, though in time with the tempo.
Told you so, Alth said smugly. Kabhi just shook her head, and didn't bother to reply. It wouldn't have made a difference anyway.
"Tell me, do you and E'mion do this to many women?" she asked, smiling to take the bite from her words. "This 'pass-off-the-woman' thing?"

L’nuo couldn’t help but grin happily as she took the spin and ended it very near to him. Seeing her sprint away made him come back to the present however, to face the next question she posed on him. Clasping one hand over his heart he feigned pain.
“My dear, dear lady… How could you think so little of us? To pass off women as if they were mere rag-dolls. Sure we are known to be roughnecks, but never would be so shallow.” Leading Kabhi in small, slow circles, he let on hand slowly drift down from the small of her back that it had found itself upon again after her spin.
“Please, Let me find a way to make it up to you for ever letting you think such thoughts.” he offered, leaving the exact offer to be puzzled upon even though his hand was probably making it very clear. If there was one man in the Weyr who could be called a Tramp, L’nuo was the one.

Kabhi smiled at L'nuo and reached back to raise his hand back to the small of her back. The song changed to a slower tune, and a few of the other couples wandered away to sit at the tables. Locking her hands behind the brownrider's neck, she giggled and smiled coyly, remaining silent for a second to make him sweat.
"And how would you make it up to me, my dear sir?" she asked flirtaciously. Having decided that she was up for a bit of fun, she took a lock of his short hair and twirled around her finger gently enough so she would not pull his hair, but enough so that he would feel it.

A little disappointed that she had replaced his hand on her back, he decided he’d have to try it again. Finding both her arms around his neck now, he pulled her a little closer and now let the other hand drift slowly down. He was not one to give up easily… Hearing her giggle, L’nuo could not help but smile. He knew he was doing something right.
Hearing the flirt in her voice, L’nuo raised an eyebrow, but let it drop again quickly as he leaned close to her. “Well, first off I would keep you dancing well into the night. Then, when your feet tire I’d whisk you off them and carry you to your Weyr where I would prepare the most luxurious bath you’ll have ever experienced just for you.” he said in a velvety tone.
Feeling her finger begin to play with his hair, L’nuo had to close his eyes before she could notice them going out of focus. Emensly enjoying the feeling, proably more than was healthy, he leaned back into her hand as his famous ‘purr’ escaped him. While it caught many women off guard, L’nuo just couldn’t help it. When something felt that good…

She felt him pull her closer, and didn't resist, though she did guide his hand back to her back. Kabhi wouldn't give up that easily. At least, not yet. Looking at his very handsome, charming smile, she shook her head. "You're very charming," she said honestly. "But I'm sure you know that," she continued, blushing.
Noticing his eyebrow raise, she smiled in reply, and his soft, rich words made a blush creep into her cheeks. "Oh?" she said, smiling and continuing to play with his hair. She heard his purr and giggled. At first she thought that he was surely faking such pleasure, but came to the almost startling realization that she had rendered his mouth useless with the action, and suddently knew that he wasn't feigning such delight.
"I see," she murmured, still twisting his hair around her finger. "Your plan sounds much better than what I had planned," she told him softly, thinking of her early bedtime and maybe a bit of records-reading. "But would you be included in the bath?" she asked, unable to resist.

Hearing her words, L’nuo cracked open one eye to look down at the women now speaking softly to him. Letting a crooked smile cross his lips, he closed his eye again and pulled her hips into his as the tempo picked up pace once again. “Well I have to admit, the plan does sound like a pleasant one. Now as for the bath, I would leave that up to you. I do not know if you would be able to put up with me in such close quarters…”
A silly grin lighting his face, L’nuo finally opened both eyes again an looked down at the woman he held in his arms. “I must warn you that I cannot behave myself when bubbles are involved.”

"If the quarters are so very cramped, perhaps we should relocate the plan to your weyr. I've heard that the higher color dragon, the bigger the weyr," she said, now flirting outrageously. Kabhi rocked her hips against him, smiling at herself and her behavior, though she knew she might be ashamed later.
Who cares? I'm about tonight, she thought quietly so her dragon wouldn't hear.
I'm glad you changed your mind, Alth told her, knowing what Kabhi had thought. Kabhi smiled. It was rare that the rider engaged with men, or women, outside of greenflight.
L'nuo's talk of bubbled strangely delighted Kabhi, and she laughed, eyes twinkling. "I like bubbles," she said thoughtfully.

L’nuo smiled and tilted his head ever so slightly, playfulness evident in his eyes. “Well the cramped quarters would only cause a problem if you did, in fact, wish me to be in with you…” he said with a slight shrug as if he didn’t care either way.
His hands, however, were speaking against him as this time they did not drift down slowly. Instead one came up to take her hand from his neck as the other went in for a quick grab. Spinning her away before she could react, L’nuo couldn’t help but laugh lightly before spinning her back in just as quickly.
