Kitchen Chores: includes following any instructions the Headwoman or Head Cook may have for you. Some of those instructions may include helping with the cooking/baking/food preparation. It may also include pot scouring, floor scrubbing, dishwashing, etc.
Dining Hall Chores: includes following any instructions the Headwoman or her Stewards may have for you. Some of these instructions may include polishing furniture, scrubbing floors, polishing silverware, filling wall sconces, switching out glows, serving food, etc.
Infirmary Chores: include following any instructions given by the Weyrhealer/Dragonhealer, Healers and their Assistants. Chores may include patient care as qualified for (bathing, reading, massages, etc), cleaning, laundry (includes all laundry), cleaning the Infirmary, etc.
Bowl Cleanup: follow the Headwoman, Master Herder and Steward’s orders. Includes raking the Bowl, getting rid of greenery, breaking firestone in the Weyr’s firepits, helping with the herdbeasts, etc.
Foraging: includes going to the beach or forest to find specific items to help supplement the supplies of the Weyr. Follow any instructions given by the Headwoman, Head Cook or the Stewards.
Latrine Duty: exactly what it sounds like. Anyone found shirking their duties or who gets into trouble will be put in this chore group. It includes cleaning all the latrines in the Weyr for both first and second chore. How long you are in this group depends on how severe your punishment is. Follow the instructions of the Headwoman or her Stewards.
(ooc: All Candidates will be assigned to a chore group after arriving at the Weyr. These chores will be posted on the bulletin board in the Candidates' Barracks and will be updated regularly. The more a Candidate shirks off, the less likely they will be to Impress. Yes, whether your Candidate does the chores or not affects their chance of Impression. After all, If your Candidate can't be depended on to do its duties now, how can it be expected to cope with its responsibilities as a Rider?)
