(OOC: Not sure where to put this so I'll just stick it in here.)
R'daur asked Lheth to get Berelia, so he could start her lessons for today and hopefully help her learn about how to deal with the human half of a dragonpair. If she could do that then she would make a fine dragonhealer, because the rider can be a pain in the arse when their dragon was healing from an injury especially threadscore, he had heard that from his master. He hoped that they wouldn't be horrible to him with thread iminent.
Lheth contact Berelia, the girl I'm teaching. R'daur asked his brown hoping the dragon got the right girl he waited. For her to arrive.
Berelia, Mine wishes to see you in the Infrimary, as soon as you can. The brown hoped the girl didn't wet herself the way some people did when they were bespoken. The brown hated bespeaking others but if His asked him to he would, even though he didn't like it.

Berelia, unlike many girls her age had heard a dragon in her head before. Her mother's dragon, Naraleth spoke to her and so did her mother's mate's dragon, Mnemozyth. When Lheth contacted her, it was tentative. She concentrated hard, like her mother had taught her. R'daur said it was time for lessons. Trying to project her thoughts to the dragon might have been far fetched but the eleven turn old gave it a try. He may or may not have heard her. I'm on my way. Thank you Lheth.
Quickly she finished cleaning up, giving her face one more scrub with the wet towel in her hand. She placed the towel in the laundry bin and shouted to her fostermother, who was in the other room with the youngest. "I'm off to lessons. Don't know when I'll be back. " With that the girl was practically running out the door her work boots and coarse woolen dress made it hard to run. Her hair was chopped short, in a bob like hair style. She didn't do muhc to it except run a brush through it now and again.
When she rounded the corner where R'daur normally waited, she slowed her pace down a bit. The sack she was carrying held things that were required for her lessons by the Master Dragonhealer. Catching her breath didn't take long. Berelia knew better than to forget her manners. "Good morning, Master." She didn't tack on the whole title as it could be seen as a bit redundant. "What are we doing today?" Her brown eyes held a glimmer of excitement. She was keeping herself calm as she could. This whole craft she found exciting and as she was new at it, every day seemed like something new.

"Well child I was thinking that we would learn how to work with the human half of a dragon pair. After all, what is a dragon without its rider?" R'daur was not expecting the child to know she was to young and unimpressed as yet. Lheth however snorted he knew the answer and gave his a look of anger at the statement the man had made.
We would be alone! Lheth yelled at His, the Brown was indignant that His would ask a ridicolous question like that.

"Yes sir. Since I don't have a dragon I must listen extra carefully to the rider." Unlike R'daur she had no dragon to use for communication. The rider would be needed to get an idea of what was wrong with the dragon. Berelia wondered who they would be looking at today. Lately there were a lot of injuries. The Muneo incident had left both humans and dragon scarred.
Her hands figeted as she waited for him to talk more. She didn't want to get distracted from the subject matter even if she was interested in the relationship a rider and his dragon had. Later she would ask her questions.

"Well before we go and see the bluerider, I will answer any relevant questons you have." R'daur was proud of the girl she would do well to stand. He knew that her standing was few turns off yet.
Lheth however didn't care he watched His with interest, he knew that His saw something in this youngster that others didn't he was going to have some time to himself today. His was busy teaching the girl how to deal with other humans.

"Since there are a lot of dragons in pain after a threadfall, how do you know who to treat? I mean aren't all the riders going to say their dragon is most severely hurt. And if two of them are about the same how do you make the choice to save one over the other?" These were questions that had been weighing on her mind since she last talked with her mother. Berelia was worried about the possibility that Thread would be falling in her lifetime.
She wasn't overly concerned, not enough to not pay attention to lessons and chores. Her apprenticeship was far to important to her to be hindered by worries. Berelia also wondered if she should voice her next thought. No, she would wait. It was a wonder R'daur was able to answer her questions half the time, she was so full of them.

"Well that is when you look at each injury as it comes in, if a dragon is oozing ichor tend it first. Otherwise it is left to your judgement who to heal first, however I find that bronzes and golds can be very demanding and should be treated promptly so that they don't get in your way as you are treating greens, blues, and browns. Queens make the worst patients." R'daur said he was feeling like a lecture but he had to find a way to keep from speaking to long so that he could keep his appointment with Bluerider H'rin, after all the riders dragon had suffered a severe wing tear and he made a perfect teaching opportunity.

The girl listened to his answer but found it was more of another question in disguise. She mulled over the idea that Rankers should be dealt with first. Why should that be. A Queen can holler all she wants but if she isn't as bad off as one of the other dragons she would just have to wait her turn. Berelia was raised to know the way of Ranks and how many of rank felt about those of lower rank. She knew that her mother had opinions about those who held high ranks too.
It was funny that Weyr politics should play a small part even in dragonhealing. "Who are we going to see today?" She spoke with a childlike innocence. She wanted to know but didn't want to know too much. "What wing do they fly in?" She wondered if her mother knew them. Naraleth might know them. Then again the green often forgot names let alone remembering some other dragon she may have met long ago. If it was a male dragon she might remember.

"He is a bluerider his name is H'rin he flies in Bloodchar, when he is well enough to fly." R'daur said to the girls query, he knew that the chances she knew him were slim. Lheth asked Xith if His was ready, for His to come and check on them.

Blood Char was the wing Naraleth and her mother flew in. She knew that much and that it was the Weyrleader's Wing. That meant the dragons there were given an even higher honor than others. She bet her mother would know this H'rin fellow. "I may have seen him befor e but I can't recall. Probably not. " She shrugged.
Waiting for her master to say it was time to go, she thought about what the key things were to remember when talking to a rider about his dragon. She hoped that she did well. People usually liked her and warmed up to her.

We are ready, when Yours is. The blue stated after Lheth had asked whether or not they were ready for His. The brown relayed the message and His stood up before he spoke to Berelia. He was wondering if she would remember her manners when they saw him. The man had a broken rib and his dragon had torn wingsail from a botched landing.
"Alright let's go, Berelia I expect you to be on your best behavior as you usually are." R'daur was merely reminding the girl, he was going to take her under his wing as a special apperentice one that would one day replace him.
