The fire here is always banked... a place where a hot cup of klah and warm food can be had at anytime of day or night. Kept going for those who can't make it in for the regular meal... mainly those flying sweep. A few Skybroom chairs and a table are drawn close.

Placed on a dais at the far end of the Hall, this is where the Rankers set from Weyrleaders to Wingseconds. It is made of dark heavy Skybroom wood and when in use is always covered with Lateo's greatest Finery.
It is a place for meals, formal announcements, flirtations and intrigue. Many a secret rendezvous have been arranged here in plan sight.
