Rider Information
Name N'sis
Age twenty two
Gender male(definitely male)
Sexual Preference unwillingly bisexual--definite ladies' man, although he can't blame the men for wanting him either
Location Lateo Weyr
Rank and Wing Wingrider in Helios Wing
Standing Personally, he could care less about politics, or the relationship between the Weyr and Hold entirely for that matter, all he cares about is fighting(Thread or other riders, doesn't really matter) and the ladies, of course
Family Comrade--father--forty two(if he's still alive): Was a Journeyman, Conrade met N'sis's mother, Mysara while staying for a brief period of time at the Weyr, he and Mysara had a brief but passionate relationship, and become the father of her child soon after, or rather children, seeing as Mysara had a set of twins. After Mysara's death however, he left, unable to cope with his grief
Mysara--mother--deceased(would have been thirty nine): A Greenrider in Lateo, rider of Veniusyth, she fell in love with Comrade and very unexpectedly, gave birth to his son and daughter, both fraternal twins, however she died shortly after giving birth. Comrade, unable to cope, could not take care of the children, to which his grieving mind blamed for her death
Crysannia--twin sister--twenty two: Rider of Green Isaerath, and his fraternal twin, N'sis is extremely protective of her, even if he wouldn't ever admit it, although Faranth knows, everyone else needs protection from her. They spend more time arguing and bickering, just because both tend to be not as affectionate, they are more alike in some ways then they might realize. They have a fairly close relationship and N'sis stumbles across her every so often
Pets None
Appearance Ironically, N'sis is absolutely, drop-dead gorgeous, how he got so damn lucky is a different story entirely. He could have any woman weak in the knees, even the coldest of them, and he knows it. He's what every woman wants to have, and what every man envies because he could capture the attention of any woman in the Weyr, and believe me you, he uses this fully to his advantage. He's tall, not as tall as some of the men around, but he's fairly decent height, 6"0" or 6"1", and he's extremely lean, not an inch of fat mars the almost femininely slender figure, however the downside to this is that he's not muscular in the least, or not so much that it shows, you can see it somewhat in his arms and his legs, but everywhere else, its pretty vague and hard to see. Although, even while lacking the rugged muscle tone, he's still a looker. He has long hair, well longer than most, that's just past his shoulder blades in length. N'sis absolutely adores his hair, and would slit his own throat before cutting it off, which is why he doesn't have the short haircuts that most of the male riders sport, no way, uh-uh. It falls in waves naturally, and is quite dark in color, not black, although sometimes it does appear that way in certain lights. No, if you look closer, his hair is actually a deep liver-red, which in itself is a hybrid color, somewhere between a dark blood red and mahogany brown, never tilting towards either extreme. Its not shaggy whatsoever, but very silky. And its not as though N'sis is constantly washing it and brushing it, he'll wash it once a day and run his fingers through it in the morning, unless he has a more formal occasion to go to. No matter what he does or doesn't do to it, it stays the same. Sometimes, he'll keep it down around his shoulders, other times he'll tie in back in a ponytail or a bun, it depends on the day. He has a fairly light complexion, and although he spends the majority of his time in the sun, it never seems to get any darker, but it doesn't burn either. And his skin is always soft and smooth to the touch, never rough, and he likes to make time to make sure it stays that way. Of course he needs to keep up his appearances for the ladies, although he'd still look handsome on the worst of his days. His skin is almost flawless, almost because it would be impossible for him to get out of every scrape unscathed. He does have a few scars, some of the more noticeable ones on his left thigh, chest, lower back and right calf, mostly from the deeper wounds from a dagger's blade(he seems to come in contact a lot with daggers) They can be concealed under his clothes, so you wouldn't see them unless he removed them(although its not all that hard a task to accomplish if you happen to be a woman with a pretty face and a pulse) He happens to have a childish charm to his appearance that usually school-boys have, yet he can pull it off just as well, and his features are well defined and delicate. His eyes are somewhere between almond and round in shape, and are could have been considered scarlet, except for the flecks of brown nearly the pupil, nearly invisible, so I suppose you could call them chestnut, even though they look to be a deep red in color, a very strange color indeed, and it only seems to sharpen his gaze, and makes him positively fierce looking when he's angry(which is about three quarters of the time) His nose is shapely, and full lips that always seem tempting and vulnerable. Overall he has a very pretty face, with a certain degree of elegance. And unlike most of the male riders, N'sis has both his ears pierced from the cartilage to the ear lobe; and his lip pierced, the result of boredom and the possession of a needle, some string, and some of his sister's smaller, spare earrings. His wardrobe isn't all that impressive, basically working clothes(or anything he can just as easily slip out of) He's not really picky, and definitely doesn't need flashy clothes to look good.
Personality Naturally, there are a long list of words that could accurately describe N'sis, and the first word that comes to everyone's mind is egotistical. And yes, he does happen to be very egotistical, even he'll agree to that one. Because after all, all you have is yourself in life, that should be your first concern. And he is definitely his own primary concern. And if his primary concern is himself, his secondary concern would be for Saeraphinayth, and although he acts all tough and impatient and blames her for getting him into the whole 'bisexual' situation, however underneath all those fake words, he would go to the ends of the world for her, he'd just never actually admit that. He's also the most immoral person you'd ever have the pleasure, or rather the displeasure to meet. And really, there is very few good qualities to him, unless you dig really, really, really deep down. Saeraphina and his sister are the only ones he's halfway decent to. Women are only bed partners, and men are potential punching bags. Although you wouldn't expect it, he does have respect toward a certain, small number of individuals: the Weyrleaders and his Wingleader. Anyone else doesn't deserve it. He's obscene, lewd, profane, shameless, vile, indecent, immodest, pick any of those words, they'll describe him perfectly. And no matter how many times Crys will yell at him, no matter how many times Saeraphina will try to divert his attentions, he'll never change. Basically, what you could call him is a very generous prostitute. N'sis has really no friends, men or women, after all it would be hard to be a friend when he is constantly trying to flirt with you. Its not that he couldn't have them, he's just never tried all that hard to get some. He's a chronic womanizer, no getting around that. And throw all the insults you want at him, doesn't effect him one little bit, he'll just brush it off and continue on. Persistence, one of his stronger traits, and most despised by practically every woman alive. The only thing he does better than flirting is fighting, and unfortunately, for anyone who ends up on the wrong side of his dagger, he's very good at it, probably from years on end of practice with the most brutal of tactics. That, paired with the fact that he has a difficult time controlling his temper turns out to be one hell of a situation. And oh yes, he has definite anger management problems, and a flash-fire temper. With the men, he wouldn't hesitate to get in a fight, and he won't stop until they are either unconscious or are whimpering at his feet for mercy. Surprisingly, he's never laid a hand on a woman, it would be bad for his reputation if he had. But that won't stop him from snarling and cursing at them, if they happen to make him mad. Most women just leave as soon as he arrives. He's conniving and manipulative and will use any means necessary to get what he wants. Saeraphina can calm him down to an extent, if he's just a little irritated, but when he's in a full blown torrent, its pretty much a futile effort because he's likely to bite your head off. There is one quality about him that would make him a good leader(if his temper wasn't so God awful) and that is that he is very logical and has a strategic outlook on everything. Any situation is a potential battle situation, and he has to have all aspects mastered. Its a very abnormal way of looking at life, but it makes him one of the best Wingriders around. He just loves to fly in Threadfall, its never and obligation, rather a well loved hobby. He's not exactly what we'd call stable. And did we mention he's an alcoholic, like a seriously big alcoholic. Its very rare to find him without a bottle of wine, or a mug of ale. And no matter how much he drinks, he never seems to be drunk, or as in very noticeably drunk(he's had practice holding his alcohol) He's extremely blunt, obviously not a very sensitive person, although its not as though he's not truthful. Its just, he doesn't know the right time to say things, his brain and his mouth don't connect, and its made him one of the less popular riders in the Weyr, but he really doesn't care.
History Both Crysannia and N'sis were the only two children of Mysara and Comrade, a Greenrider and a Journeyman, and a rather large accident. Mysara, the rider of Green Veniusyth had met Comrade at a Gather, no more than eighteen at the time. At first, they had clicked rather nicely, and it wasn't really love but rather lust, at first that is. It was shortly after their first meeting that Mysara found herself pregnant, and although she wasn't really planning on having a child so early, she wasn't angry or irritated or horrified by the news. Comrade, although his job required otherwise, decided to settle down and help her to raise their child, and Mysara being a Greenrider, was at a fortunate position than if she was a Queenrider, she would have time to spend with her child. She hadn't really told anyone about the news, except the Healers of course, and they found out on their own. But very shortly, it became painfully obvious that there wasn't just one child, which happened to be a rather nerve-racking situation. Twins, even with an experience mother, were hard to birth without one child unharmed, but because Mysara was so young, and this was her first pregnancy, the Healers worried that either the children, either one or both would be too weak to survive the first few sevendays, or there would be a stillbirth. The other problem was Mysara, and although unlikely, it was possible she could get sick as well. This news was unsettling to both Mysara and Comrade, however they tried to look past this, even though it was always on their minds. Nine months later, Mysara went into labor and was rushed to the infirmary. The labor lasted for a good part of the day, into the night, and the Healers thought the birth would actually occur the next day, however she gave birth during the early hours of morning. It was a very painful situation for Mysara, and she had managed the childbirth alright, but it left her extremely weak, so much so that her body couldn't cope. Before her death, shortly after, she had gotten to see her children, gave them their names. She died a few hours later, which came as a shock to Comrade, and unable to even look at the twins, he left them in the care of the Healers, subconsciously blaming them for Mysara's death. N'sis and Crysannia was raised by an older Greenrider, who was for the most part, retired from her duties to the Weyr. N'sis and his sister were inseparable as youngsters, but while Crys could naturally make friends with the weyrbrats, N'sis was more of an underdog, constantly picked on when his twin wasn't around to save him. This directly influenced how his personality became in later turns. Soon he began to fight back, and sort of separated himself from everyone except Crys. N'sis was never really doted on as a youngster, but it never really mattered to him anyway. He was often in trouble as well, usually for starting fistfights with the other weyrbrats--and winning them. He was a rough-and-tumble sort of kid, then again so was Crys. He isolated himself from the taunts and teasing. As he grew older, this only seemed to worsen. N'sis was the first to Impress at sixteen, a Green, Saeraphinayth. Crysannia had left the Weyr a little bit before, and ended up in Lateo's Weyrhold. N'sis however, ended up(a little to his horror) with Saeraphina. A female dragon. Who would be caught by male dragons. Who would have male riders. And the thought of him being in bed with another g--nope. He was a definite ladies' man, however for the first few sevendays, all he could do was look and hope they were still there by the time Saeraphina could handle these little rendezvous of his. For N'sis, Weyrling Training was a bore(all though the little Greenriders and Queenriders were easy on the eyes) and he couldn't have been more relieved to graduate. His boundaries were limitless, any and every woman was susceptible to his charms and looks, and there was plenty of them to satisfy him--for a time that is. This fondness of the fairer sex led to an addiction, and some deeds that would have surely caused some jaws to drop, especially at his age. Crys certainly couldn't stand it, and would tell him so whenever she got a chance to see him. He took a different woman to bed with him each night, and would find a different one to replace her for the night after. And he scoffed at the thought of a weyrmate, it would only tie him down. And Saeraphina was left to try and keep him decent, but did he listen? Absolutely not, of course. He quickly became one of the most infamous people in the Weyr, and his reputation proceeded him everywhere. A deviant with a deadly temper.
Dr
Name Saeraphinayth
Age six
Color Green
Appearance Saeraphinayth a fairly decent for her size, although she happens to be a tad bit weaker than most . She's actually very pretty, and has a certain degree of elegance that would rival even the Queens. She's a mottled green, with a light dusting of jade green across her back and wings, and even some sparkles of blue, if you look hard enough that is. She's also blind in one eye, from an accident during the Hatching.
Personality Naturally, Saeraphina has a very motherly personality, and she's very quiet and calm and has little to no temper. She's a real sweetheart, and wouldn't dream of holding a grudge against anyone, or even getting mad. She's quite friendly, but a little reserved in certain situations. Saeraphina looks after Hers often, and tries to keep him out of trouble, but it becomes very difficult at times. However she's the only one N'sis will listen to.
History Saeraphinayth was actually a surprise- at first it was uncertain that she was going to hatch at all, she was dead last to do so. Everyone was almost certain she wouldn't and started to leave, however N'sis knew that it was still in there, a feeling you could call it. And boy was N'sis surprised when she impressed him, after all, he was expecting something male, and although he liked to play up to his tough guy routine, he'd smash anyone in the nose who said one thing about her. N'sis became fiercely protective, even if he wouldn't admit it, and Saerphina was stuck with the Weyr's number one pervert(and best weyrpair ever, in N'sis's mind, of course)
