Why did you make me go through with this?
You need to give someone a chance at actually having a nice conversation with you!
You liar! You just like him. And him of all people too.
N'sis wasn't exactly well-known for being a casual friend. Not that Daine had known until she made Wesayath find out something about him. She didn't know many people, although those she did were most likely authority figures that always had to punish her. But now her green had somehow convinced her to ask N'sis if he wouldn't mind joining her for lunch. And if Wesayath called it a lunch date one more time she was going to blow. "That son of a wherry doesn't know what he's gotten himself into." She grumbled as she stormed into her weyr. Daine had just left the Springs, soaking wet by the way, where N'sis had found her trying to get away.
Then he saw her with the clothes clinging to her, a white shirt too, before she stormed out. Hopefully not too many people of the Weyr saw or noticed her as she rushed to her weyr. Now she needed a hot bath to clean herself from actually being in the same "bath" as him. The Spring was just a larger version of a bath in her mind. And to have been in the water at the same time as him...She shivered at the thought. Once in her weyr, Wesayath greeted her with the many facets of her eyes swirling a deep blue and green. Well wasn't she just oh so happy? Daine sighed and stripped the clothes from herself. She could wash off later. Now she just needed to dry off and change clothes.
You should wear that dress that--
No. No dress. Just what I normally wear.
But you always wear that! Show off alittle.
Again. No. If you keep on bugging me I will not brush my hair either.
The green instantly was quiet, and a smile tugged at the corner of Daine's lips. It worked every time. Drying herself off, she quickly grabbed at a fresh large, baggy white shirt and threw it on. Next was the baggy and dark pants to complete her outfit. No chance anyone could see her curves under all of that. She did brushed her hair out, but it was still so wet that all it did was make small wet spots on the shoulders of her shirt. For any who saw her now, her emerald eyes would be clearer than daylight. Her hair was filled with so much water it looked black, making her eyes seem to glow against the darkness. Slipping on sandals she was out the door and heading to the Helios Table.
Veralidaine made her way to the table and, when she found no sign of him, chose a random seat. Well, he could find her then. With a small sigh, she got up to go pick up a cup of klah and found her way back to her chosen seat. Well, no one said she couldn't start without him. Klah rushed down her throat, filling her with the hot liquid that always left its delicious taste lingering in her mouth. Now it was his turn to show, which she bet he would.
