((OOC: Drills have been going on for about a half candle mark already. Please play that all of you are already here. If you are late you are going to get a good rimming out or worse from G’llahar, A’zon and/or F’lor ICly. OOC you will hear it from me, we have been having way too much of this. Are all the dragon riders chronically late? *grins. They are practicing a stepped V formation w/ live flame. Greens and blues are in pairs, stacked at the bottom. The browns and Bronze are on top and at the front. There are a good 25 in your wing. 6 greens, 12 blues, 4 browns, and 3 bronze. A‘zon has 2 greens, 4 blue, one brown and one bronze. F‘lor has 2 greens, 4 blue, and one brown. G‘llahar has 2 greens, 4 blue, and one brown.))
Phelanth turned his head and opened his mouth, waiting for the firestone he knew would come. His rider obeyed promptly and tossed the goodly sized rock into his bronze’s open maw. He took immense pleasure in watching the bronze masticate the hard stone. His huge bulging jaw muscles worked quickly to turn the firestone into powdery mush, a thick spurt of flame soon followed. How are they?
Most are staying in formation. That young green didn’t come back into formation from between though… almost caused an accident. I called her up.
I’ll take care of the rider. Ask A’zon to appraise his unit. The greens still holding out?
Phelanth grumbled his ascent before winking between on cue.

(( everyone is masticating together!!! ))
Miroth flamed again, keeping a running littany of the other dragons movments as he always did in drills The bronze relayed Phelanth's message quickly and A'zon nodded. Phelanth's wants to know the state of our unit. Turning to his right the bronze roared out a warning as two of the blues nearly collided. A'zon sniffed, they were rusty. Despite the constant drills, they just weren't working together as they should. That cohesion that should exist didn't. Tell him they aren't working together. We need to boost the drills on wing support. Miroth flamed again and sent the message back.
Gereseth tires. She falls back. Veisth covers. A'zon nodded and turned to see the green and blue switched places. Ask G'llahar when he wants to switch the vees. The bronze relayed that message as well and flamed once more. The ash blew back into the rider's face and A'zon noted the wind change and watched the rest of his unit as they compensated. Veisth flames well, Cesth is using too much stone she will drop out too. Sharding young riders, the greens were the worst really. Those ash-for-brains riders were going to cause injuries.

G’llahar listened to the messages relayed by his bronze, he was keeping a running tally of what needed to be addressed in their debriefing.
When do you call to switch vees?
Now is as good a time as any.
F’lor caught the edge of the conversation and made ready. His brown listening closely.
