H'nen liked Sodalis well enough, but he didn't like not being at Lateo do much. If he was going to be away from everyone he knew it would have been better if he and Betheroth could come and go as they chose. Hopefully Betheroth would be old enough sooner rather than later.
He was being depressed again, perhaps it was better he only got like this when Betheroth was sleeing the rest of the time he was too busy to think about things. His mother and sister had hopefully recieved word.... he didn't want them to worry.
Then there was the matter of Zylaera who was more than a friend in some ways. He really ought to not think about her too much either. Betheroth said her dragon was always short with him and he didn't like it. Well at least Betheroth had not said her would never speak to the green dragon again. He missed everyone in his old life and knew very little people here. Remaining sprawled out on his bed he watched Betheroth sleep.

T'riel and Werunth were on their way back to their weyr when T'riel noticed the new guys sprawled on his bed. Sine he didn't know him yet, T'riel decided to try and make friends. Pausing by the door, he cleared his throat and said, "Hey there. I'm T'riel and this is Werunth. I don't believe we've met."
OOC: Sorry it's so short. I didn't know what else to write. >.<

H'nen looked up at the other boy, suprised anyone had stopped by at all. Betheroth was still sleeping on his couch, quite happily. "T'riel, Werunth." He nodded to each respectively, sitting up on the bed rather than sprawled out as he had been. "I'm H'nen and that sleeping bulk of blue hide over there is Betheroth."
Daze immediately felt angry that he had not mentioned her. She flew to the top of H'nen's head and landed there. "Oh and my fire-lizard is Daze. Most vain creature on Pern I'd wager." Daze took the opportunity to preen and crane her neck. She really was incorrigible.

T'riel took a step inside the other lad's weyr with Werunth not too far from him. "Well met H'nen." T'riel said to the lad. Since he noticed that Betheroth was asleep on his couch, he didn't bother to wake the little guy up. But he also didn't forget about the little fire-lizard who seemed quite sure of herself. "And a pleasant greetings to you Daze." T'riel said towards her. Turning his attention back to H'nen, he said "By the look of her, she must be a handful. Do you think she'll let me pet her? I've never had the opportunity to get a fire-lizrd egg of my own." Then in a change of subject, T'riel asked, "I apologize if I'm bothering you but... you seem well... sad. Shouldn't you be happy since you have Betheroth as well as Daze?"
Werunth on the other hand did not have any problems with waking Betheroth for he felt the other person's sadness so he spoke to Betheroth. Greetings Betheroth. I'm Werunth and this one beside me is my Rider-Mine T'riel. We're visiting your weyr since Yours is new here and Mine hasn't gotten to know him yet. Werunth said to wake Betheroth up.

"She is a handful as far as meeting women and looking at herself all the time but she is very obedient most the time." He sent the little firelizard a picture of her landing on the other boy's shoulder. She in turn flew over to the T'riel and landed on his shoulder. "She likes attention so go right ahead."
He looked at the brown Weyrling for a moment, he was bigger than Betheroth that was for sure. "I'm very happy to have them, of course. I just miss home right now. I've always wanted to get away and see Pern and now that I can I miss Lateo. More than that I miss the people there. I don't know many people here."

T'riel was enchanted by Daze and absent-mindedly scratched her head. He couldn't get the feeling how so much like a dragon she feels. Taking his mind back to H'nen, he said, "Well, cheer up. Now you know me and Werunth. And I'm sure you'll get to know more people as time passes. Or if not, when our dragons grow older, we may be able to go between ourselve. Wouldn't that be great? We get to visit our family then."

"Sometimes it isn't that I don't know people its that I miss the people who I already know well. Not to say the people here are not great its just home is a very different feeling than here. In a few months I'm sure it will seem as if I have lived here my whole life." At the mention of flying H'nen grinned. What Weyrling didn't want to learn to fly.
"Flying will be great fun, don't you think?" He thought of Betheroth being a bit speedier than browns but not so fast as greens. Perhaps not as much of an endurance dragon but still... when it came time to fight thread all types were needed.
