Amoare bit her lower lip at L’kel’s statement. While she was sure he had meant to sound reassuring, to the fifteen turn old weyrbrat, he simply sounded angry. Bringing her other arm to lay next to the first, she felt the warmth of the little bronze asleep beneath her shirt. Finding a little comfort there, she silently regarded the room.
Her back was beginning to sting again, the numbweed wearing off ever-so-slightly. Amoare pushed it to the back of her mind, not wanting to draw any of attention that Amneris obviously needed. It didn’t hurt to bad anyways, just that dull reminder of how bad it had hurt, and will hurt later on.
Seeing L’kel flash her another quick smile, Amoare returned it with a weak one. He seemed nice enough to her, but his yelling at the Healers made her unable to draw a conclusion of him. He was a rider, and a bronze at that, so he had her respect. She was, however, unsure of whether or not she liked the man yet. One moment he seemed angry and rude and the next he seemed polite and caring. Who was this man who had so many faces?
Breaking from her thoughts, she looked back at Revonna who held the other weyrbrat. "Is there anything I can do to help?" she asked. She still felt bad about killing so many flits from her fall, the fact that Amneris was hurt to the point of fainting just made Amoare feel so much worse...

Wrapping her other arm around the girl's shoulders, Revonna lowered her to the floor gently. 'I didn't think she was hurt that badly... what did she hit her head on? Could a firelizard hit that hard?'
Kneeling down beside the young candidate, the gold rider grabbed a towel that was draped across the edge of L'kel's chair. With quick, nimble fingers she rolled it up and slid it under the girl's neck. "Someone get a cold cloth... You, healer's apprentice right?... do go get a bed ready for her." Looking up Revonna took one look at L'kel and mumbled to herself. 'Charring bronzers...they don't know their asses from their heads...' It didn't take long for her attention to be directed back to unconscious child though. She ran her hands over her head and through the young woman's hair, looking for lumps, bumps... anything out of the ordinary.

Neris had never passed out before this had been a strange event so when she opened her eyes she was not sure how long she had been out. Not long she hoped though she wouldn't be fool enough to ask. Her eyes opened staedily revealing a clearer picture and the light of the infirmary. Realizing how much the back of her head hurt she looked up at Revonna, blushinig a bit, she was embarrased.
"I'm sorry." She said lightly. Sounding very much like a little girl. The back of her head was throbbing in a harsh pain. The slight girl was of course very upset that so much turmoil had been caused because she was a dunderhead. She knew Revonna would be very angry...the woman seemed to have a temper and though she tried to control it, Amneris was one of those people that got other's tempers going. She immediately felt the fool for passing out. She didn't want to move cause she felt that if she moved she would pass out again. Did she loose too much blood or something. Amneris didn't know anything about healing or injuries. She would simply let the othes do what they must.

L'kel smiled as Revonna looked at him, well, at least she recognized he was there. The dark rider hopped up out of bed. Besides his arm he was perfectly healthy. He had had enough of sitting down anyways. "Anything i could help with?" Revonna looking at him had changed his whole mood around, he was like that.
"Someone want to help me get her onto a bed?" Even with only one arm, he was proably stronger then most of the people in the room combined. As a Wingsecond, he had seen lots of stubid acciednts ending up in concussions. He guessed what would be coming next. "Uh..she hit her head right? Well most likely she has a concussion." He paused, thinking how to say the next bit as tastfully as possible. "Well, you might need a bucket." Even if she didn't have a concussion, she would probably be feeling a bit woozy.

Revonna looked up, arching a well groomed eyebrow. "I would think so. It didn't look as if she lost much blood." 'Son of a wher... does he think I am stupid?' The once healer, looked from the other young girl to the bronzer... not much help... either of them. "I would rather the Healer help me... thank you anyway." Motioning to the tall woman, Revonna waited for her to get into postion. "Shhh, don't worry about it. Do you think you can stand with some help?"
Looking back at the tall dark man, Revonna spit out pure posion. She knew what happened when someone had a concusion... they weren't even sure if that was truely what the young woman had or if it was just the excitment coupled with the sight of so much of her own blood.
"Bronzer... you might want to find the bucket, unless you of course are a healer and would like to diagnose her."

Amneris looked at the Bronze rider and then back at the Queenrider. She would try to stand. "Its worth a try." She smiled half heartedly. moving her long thin legs she pushed herself into an upright position. Standing she closed her eyes for a moment. Maybe it would have been better to do her chores this once instead of playing with the other Candidates and Weyrbrats. "I think I need to lay down." She plumped down on the bed across from L'kel. Her little brown flit looked at her curiously. She had woken him this time. His body was still clasped in the crook of her arm. Somehow he had managed to stay right where he wanted.

Amoare stood a step back as she watched the happenings silently. While she wanted to offer a helping hand she knew she's only get in the way. The last thing she wanted to do was draw the attention off of Amneris when she seemed to need it the most. She hoped silently that everything would be ok.
The slight burning sensation was brought back to the front of her mind as she watched Amneris wake again. Her back ached and she struggled to not pay attention to it. Seeing the fellow weyrbrat stand, however, sent the pain to the back of her mind again as she watched with worry-filled eyes.
