“Aye…where they should be.” R‘lan touched his feet to the feline hide rug, enjoying its softness before standing and going to the foot of the bed. “Where what is?” The rider turned to see what Shereae was speaking of. He was in time to see fabric caressing her legs. The brown rider couldn’t keep his eyes off of her as she slid the pants over the smooth skin of her hips and over her ass. It took a moment to realize what he had started to do. Finding clean pants, he quickly pulled them on. His back turned to the woman, “I don’t really give a Fall what G’llahar has to say. It is E’mion that I answer to.” He grabbed up a shirt, putting it on but leaving it unbuttoned and went on a hunt for his boots. One was close to the door, the other closer to the bed, grabbing them up he sat down on the edge. “You wouldn’t mind? A moment ago you were covering your eyes.” R’lan chuckled to himself, a grin twinkling in his clear blue eyes. He pulled on the top of his boot.

"That's true, but I don't have to look at you to walk with you, you know. Why don't you like G'llahar?" Shereae, being a candidate, had no idea of the open hostility between the Weyrleader and most people of Helios Wing. The Weyrleader had always seemed like a decent enough person, and a rather capable leader to Shereae, but she supposed that she didn't know everything about everyone. And that meant that there was probably a good deal about G'llahar that she didn't know.
She slipped her feet into the sandal she had roamed the beach in the day before. "Ready to go?" she asked nervously. Nyl was struggling, eyes whirling faster.

“He is…” The brown rider grunted as he finished pulling on his left boot. “wherriehead at best. He isn’t a bad man or even a bad Weyrleader, but he doesn’t understand the way A’dan did.” It took a moment longer to get the other thick wher hide boot on his foot. “Lets go before she fashes herself.”
