"Shard it all." Veralidaine sighed and strode through the small tunnel from the kitchens to the Spring. She came here often, usually to relax and get away from the people that always seemed to crowd her. Whatever she did there always got left behind when she arrived at the Springs. Today was an especially good day for this. Wing Practice had lasted all night and then she had so many chores to do that there was no time for sleep. This was the only time she had to catch up, but by now she wasn't even that tired anymore. Or not enough for her to fall asleep in the first place. But there had been quite a bit of running in the practice, more like it was all running, and her feet ached.
She tore off her boots in two fluid movements and massaged her feet for a single moment, then dropped them in the warm water. If it was too hot, the people couldn't drink from it, but no one would go in it if it was too cold. So they held it right in between, so it wasn't enough for one but too much for the other. Daine smirked. They needed a new spring for just bathing...one that was hot with so much steam rising that you couldn't see your hand in front of you. She much preferred that privacy, and even if someone walked in you would not have to worry about them seeing anything you did not want them to see. But it was just an idea she had.
Bathing again? No, Wes, just soaking my feet. Daine let her feet sink into the water, not caring that her pants were soaking wet up to her knees now. Aw, poor baby's feet hurt. The greenrider laughed and shook her head. No, but this does make them feel better. Just keep your sharding nose out of it. So much for being a curious friend. By the way, when are you going to bathe me? She smirked. Last time that happened, only three days ago, Wesayath had gotten Daine so wet that she was surprised the Weyr wasn't partially flooded with the dripping water that hung from her clothes like weights. Soon, just make sure you've learned your lesson. The green snorted and decided not to respond to that. Smart move.

I am the reason why the innocent are slaughtered I am the laughing lie that's never uncovered {Mhhm, that feels nice, Mine}
Saeraphina stretched her long, slender neck out, crooning softly, and leaning into the touch of the bristles against her hide, her eyes whirling brightly, content. I moved the brush in the same circular pattern I had for the last hour or so, scrubbing unintermittedly, and needless to say, my whole arm was growing numb. Sheesh, did anyone realize exactly how much work went into bathing a dragon?
It better, doll. I’ve been scrubbing forever! {Oh, don’t worry. It does} You know, you dragons are awfully high matienance {I’m sorry, N’sis..} Aww, don’t think on it
She flicked her tail indifferently, and looked a little remoarseful, but I ignored it, continued on steadily, determined to have her practically glowing, if I had to spend all this time giving her a bath. She’d be the best looking dragon in the entire Weyr! Not that she wasn’t already, but you know, a bath always does wonders, only accents one’s charm and allure. And Saeraphina would be even better looking then the Queens, even if I had to clean until my hands fell off. After all, she was my partner, and a man as good looking as I am is obligated to make sure his dragon is just as handsome. Or rather, should I say ravishing, considering she wasn’t exactly the picture of a noble, majestic Bronze or stately Brown, you know, the type of dragon you might expect such a fetching gentleman like me might have. Shards, Saeraphinayth is a Green. Yes, yes, I know. Surprised? Yeah, yeah. It wasn’t like I was expecting a Green! It wasn’t like I wanted to share my bed with another man every time she had to Rise. I mean, I can’t blame them for wanting me, I am irresistable, but still…ah, well. Must make do, nothing I can do about it, right?
I took a step back, admiring my handy work. Yes, I must admit, it was a brilliant job(of course, what else would you expect from me?) She was dazzling, and the way the sunlight played off her hide. She definitely was better looking than any Queen. No offense to the Golds and everything, they were attractive, and their riders, they were to die for(in bed, I mean) but the truth hurts, no getting around that. Saeraphina was just one of those attention grabbers.
{Stop it, N’sis! The Queens are far prettier than I am}
She sounded mock serious, but I could feel the spark of pleasure that little comment had caused and chuckled. It was so easy to make her day, just say a few nice words, and you have a happy little Green on your hands.
Don’t be silly, no they’re not {Yes they are} A little polishing, and look at you. Bet you could catch the eye of any of those Bronzes faster than any Gold could {The Bronzes belong to the Queens, Mine. I am just a Green} And? Why settle for any old Blue or Brown when you can have the best of the best {I will be happy to just be in their company}
I shook my head, she was too modest for her own good. Well, eventually she would come around, hopefully. She should be more outgoing, she had the looks. I sighed half heartedly, and gave her a fond pat on the neck.
{Thank you for the bath, Mine} No problem, love..but look at me now
I looked down. I had shed my shirt, leaving my chest bare(and this would be the time to tell you how damn good I looked) and I was covered in sand and grit, and on top of that, I was soaked. Well, that’s the price you pay for a clean dragon. Trudging back to shore, which was a fairly difficult task to do, what with my pants weighing a ton. I should have left them off, after all what good were they wet? None. “Yeah, I think I need a bath now. I’m off to the Springs if you need me, Saeraphina.â€
I arrived, a towel and a bag of sweetsand in my hand, I had to pack light. And besides, I could always wrap the towel around me and go back for some clothes later. Besides, it was easy to slip off, if you know what I mean. There was no one in the Springs, or rather, no one that I could see. But even if there was, it wasn’t like I minded any company(especially not if it were one of those drudges, here to check the temperatures of the water…they were lookers alright) Shedding my clothes quickly, I slipped in, the water swirling around my waist, and leaned back. Ah, what could be better than solo time in the bath? Hmm, time spent in a bath with company, so long as they were the female kind.

Daine kicked her feet back and forth beneath the water. It was just enough to cause a slight lump in the spring before it splashed back down again. And each time, the game got less and less interesting. Really, how easily amused did you think she was? She wasn't enjoying something so small as this...really. But with her legs up to her knees already submerged, why not finish the rest? A small dip in the baths wouldn't do her any harm. But the chances of someone walking in was too high. No, she wouldn't risk it. Then again, no one said you couldn't be clothed and bathe at the same time. Now that was an idea she could actually think about trying. Not a bad idea.
The greenrider slowly slipped in, fully dressed, while watching the entrance. No sign of anyone so far. She was in by her waist when footsteps echoed down the tunnel. Her heart jumped and any or all grip she had to the side was lost. One moment she was sliding in so carefully, and the next she was twisting and fighting her way back to the surface. Once her feet found their footing, it was all over. She jumped back to the surface and gasped for a breath of air. Who was that? Someone had made her fall in, making her soaking wet. Then again, she had been about to go in anyway. It wasn't like she truly cared that much about her hair getting wet. Her locks were so dark they almost looked black, although the curles retained some of their form in loose waves.
Daine's eyes stood out like two emerald jewels with spotlights shining from behind them, with a glossy cover to finish the touch. Her baggy, old men's shirt clung to her skin like a thin, and see-through, second layer. It didn't help that her pants were so large and soaked up so much water that she could barely move underwater, let alone swim. Luckily her boots were off, giving her easier footing, or so she thought. Looking down at herself, she sucked in her breath while staring in horror. See-through. There was a reason she wore such clothing, and see-through clothes would have made all her work for nothing. Well, if she got out and no one arrived for awhile, maybe she could wait until her shirt and pants dried a bit before returning to her weyr.
Mine! Mine! Mine! What is it, Wes? There's a man...in the Spring with you! [i}WHAT?! He came in while you fell underwater, and you were so concentrated on something I couldn't tell you until now. Shells and Shards, I need to get out...now.
Daine looked around, finally taking in her surroundings. She zoomed in on the man--nude man, she should add--and started to shrink down in the water to her knees. Maybe if she stayed low enough, she could avoid his ever spotting her. The rider held her breath and sank down to her knees so that the bridge of her nose and up were the only parts above the water. She scanned the Springs. No one else was there. Well, it was better than a group of people. Still, she needed some type of diversion so she could make a run for it. Riight. In these clothes, she wouldn't make it that far. Who was it anyway? She squinted to try to take a better look at his face.
{i]Wes, who is it? N'sis and Saeraphinath. Am I supposed to know him? He's not in charge of anything, is he? He's from another Wing, but still Lateo Weyr. And I don't know everything! Could of fooled me... Now you--! Hush and help me get out of here. Then we can argue.
That's it. Just slip from the water slowly and maybe he wouldn't hear her. Then she could make a run for it and he would never know who he had seen. They never would guess her since she was always wearing the baggy clothes. She smirked under the water. Yes, that would do. Rising slowly from the water, she moved carefully so as not to cause a splash or quick rush of movement to draw his attention. The side was only a few feet away now...Her hands touched the side. Almost there...She started to bring herself to her stomach, and scraped herself going up. "Shards!" Daine cursed and froze. The scrape wasn't even that bad, but it had hurt like it was. It barely broke the layer of skin, so there was no blood involved. But there was the slight problem of her cursing and then falling back into the water to hold her stomach. "Great Faranth, why me? Why always me?"

I am the reason why the innocent are slaughtered I am the laughing lie that's never uncovered
Ah, a bath. There was nothing better than a bath. Oh wait, no, I stand corrected. The only thing better than a bath were the ladies, of course. But when there are no ladies around, a bath always did wonders for the mood. Of course, you know, I wouldn’t mind having some company. Some nice company. Some nice, womanly company. A woman and a bath, now that was a deadly combination. Just a woman without the bath is sterling. But there was oh so much fun to be had in the bath, if you know what I mean. A little time to myself wouldn’t hurt, besides…no one said you could only take one bath. And there was that lovely little drudge down in the Lower Caverns who was enthralled with Saeraphina. Sure, she was amazing, I would definitely have to agree, however she obviously never met a dragonman like me before. Or been in bed with one, they are much more mind blowing. Especially a talented one. I sank down further into the water, so it was level with my chin. All the grit and sand was shaken loose by the swirling water, the warmth easing the knots from my muscles, drawing a content sigh. A sudden wave repose settled. Sullenly I wished for some company.
{Mine…} If its about that brat of a sister of mine, she can wait ‘til later, alright Saeraphina..I’m taking my bath now {Its not about Crysannia, N’sis. I think you have company} Huh?
Okay, I’ll admit. That left me a little dumbfounded. There wasn’t anyone in here, I was sure of it. But then again, I wasn’t a dragon, and I didn’t have super senses, or whatever they had to tell exactly what was happening around them. I looked around. Only me and the water, unless I was missing something. Shard it, I hated when I was missing something.
Where are they, Saeraphina
Okay, there was a slight edge to my voice that I didn’t mean to convey, what was it now? Couldn’t I even get in a bath without worrying who was here to tell me off. Probably that wherry of a Bronzerider, following me here to try to take advantage of my less than prepared state. Well, I did have a dagger in my pant pocket, so I wasn’t totally helpless. I felt the heat of anger flush my face. This time I would slit his neck, whether Saeraphina protested or not. He was lucky she was there, or else he might have ended up that way the first time he was stupid enough to try and take me on. And now he was interrupting my bath?! What a crackdust, I swear to…
{Mine, its not that Bronzerider…it’s a Greenrider} Great, another guy? You know, I really can’t blame them for following me into the bath, but c’mon, I’m a ladies’ man, well… {Not a male, it’s a woman}
She sounded hesitant to tell me at first, and I scoffed. What? What was the problem with telling me that there was some company, especially good company. I was sorely in lack of that lately, and it wasn’t like I was going to rape her or anything, its much more fun when they come and eat out of the palm of your hand, and it wasn’t all that difficult to do. Lay down the words they wanted to hear, put on a little charm and sincerity, and bam! Not much of a challenge at all, but the prize was quite a deal more exceptional.
So…is she good lookin’? {Mine, your sister told you that you shouldn’t be…} Relax Saeraphina, its not like I’m gonna rape her! Sheesh, besides, what does Crysannia know, nothin’, that’s what she knows {But, N’sis!..} Hush..
Okay, so those lovely little surprise still managed to elude me, but she had to show up eventually, right? Well if she didn’t, I could always ask Saeraphina exactly where she was. Sometimes, having her around came in quite handy, didn’t it…as long as you got past the fact that she was practically a recording of Crysannia’s long winded, useless speeches. Probably because Crysannia put her up to try and keep me away from the ladies to begin with, but I was born with an addiction. It ran in my blood. And I wouldn’t let my looks be wasted, just because she didn’t want to use hers! “Shards!†A voice, ah ha. Definitely not masculine, and I looked to my right. There was a sudden movement and a splash, and I spotted the source. The woman in question, her arms wrapped around her stood in the shadows, slightly hunched. Well, she was all alone wasn’t she. Dreadful, huh? I know, I thought so too.
Reaching my arms back, I pushed myself up from the water, the air nipped at my bare flesh, and grabbed my towel. She might get to see more of me later(I guarentee it) but first, introductions. Tying it around my waist tightly, although not so tight that it couldn’t be gotten out of, if need be. Running a hand through my wet hair, I put on that ever so charming grin, and walked around the perimeter of the Springs lightly, coming to stand in front of her, or rather, behind her since her back was facing me, but I’d imagine not for long. She was soaking wet, from head to toe, and still in her clothes. Did she fall in? Or did she just not like taking off her clothes? Well, why not? Its wasn’t like she didn’t have the body. My eyes lingered on her, and boy, did she have the body. N’sis, you lucky dog. Well, luck had nothing to do with it, she probably just saw me head to the Springs and couldn’t resist. I couldn’t blame her, I was a large temptation, what with the way I was ‘gifted’ and all. In more ways than one. â€The water does wonders, doesn’t it?†I couldn’t help but grin, at least a little, and indicated her clothing, amused. I couldn’t help it, and besides…she was quite a catch, this one.

Daine froze. There was someone walking behind her, she knew it. His wet feet across the hard ground was not quiet enough, and she picked up on it in seconds. The sound stopped directly behind her and she cursed repeatedly under her breath. Well, this was what she got for being so careless. Next time, make sure not to go in the Springs at all. Maybe Wes was just playing a trick on her though. It could just be one of the drudges that randomly walked in, and there was nothing wrong with that. And yet she couldn't believe that. There was a man standing behind her, no matter what she tried to say to herself. The greenrider took a deep breath, preparing to yell and run. That was how it worked.
She didn't want to talk to anyone, let alone have them see her like this. Aww, Veralidaine embarrassed? Yes, very much indeed. And she knew if she turned around that she would see some unfamiliar man staring down at her. But if she pretended not to hear, she could swim off and then run out. That was was cowards did. She was no coward. His voice picked up, and her fists clenched in anger. What was that supposed to mean? Oh, she knew what it meant, but as for an introduction...She bristled and spun around, her eyes blazing with their emerald fire as they glared at him in anger. He was not going to get away with that.
"What? Is that your idea of an introduction?" Her fists were clenched by her hips, just barely over the water, letting their smooth curves visible and outlined by her pants. But she was so engrossed in a mixture of anger and embarrassment that she was too busy to notice that she had just turned around for him in her wet white shirt. Since apparently she didn't know how to help herself in this current situation, Wesayath decided to take a step in.
Mine, get out now if you don't want him to see you there. Facing him isn't any better, it's only worse. I know that! Of course you did..that's why you're still facing him. Stop it! I'm moving, I'm moving! Took you long enough..
Daine growled and practically dragged herself to the side, annoyed with how much her clothes weighed her down. It didn't help at all when she started to pull herself up onto the side and she finally noticed he was only wearing a towel. "Shards, are you selling them or something?" Ver, you're in the Springs where people bathe like that. The greenrider bit her tongue to stop the snapping reply she had prepared. Instead, she hoisted herself up onto her stomach, before pulling herself to shore. Water dripped from ever strand of hair, eyelash, fabric, and fingertip as she rose to her feet. Wouldn't this be fun?
She stormed over to her boots, grabbing them in one arm. Luckily she had kept her clothes on at least. Otherwise...well, she wouldn't even think about that. The dragonrider turned to actually get a good look at the man who had seen her like this before she said goodbye. He was surprisingly good-looking, and attractive in Daine's eye, which was rare. But looks didn't do half of what it took for her to even be nice to someone like him. Instead, she continued with what she had started off to do: leave. "Nice meeting you, dragonrider. I hope we never meet again." To pretend she could be polite, she waited an extra moment to see if he had anything to say to maybe raise the bar in her first impression of him.

I am the reason why the innocent are slaughtered I am the laughing lie that's never uncovered
{Mine, I don’t know if you want to tease this one} I’m not teasin’ her, Saeraphina! I’m having a conversation {Well, I don’t think she’s the type to converse much. I believe I’ve seen this one before…} Oh, really?
I raised an eyebrow and waited for her to continue, partially curious of what she actually meant by not the “typeâ€
{She’s a little…hot-headed} And that’s what you’re worried about? I’ve had plenty of fiesty girls before. What’s her name? {She’s Wesayath’s rider, umm….Veralidaine, I think} Thank you kindly, Saeraphina. Now if you don’t mind.. {Okay, but careful with your words, N’sis} No worries, love
She still sounded uncertain, but I shrugged it off. I knew my own limits(not that I had any, of course), I would just use my talents to my advantage, just like with every other girl I’ve gotten to ‘know’. She wasn’t any different, like Saeraphina kept trying to convince me, just a little more high strung. Which didn’t bother me at all, a challenge, I loved a good challenge. I watched, rather calmly(have to keep your cool at all times) as she bristled at the words and swung around to face me. Ha ha! High strung indeed, just look at those eyes of hers. If looks could kill, I’d probably be dead and buried by now, but fortunately for all of us, they can’t. Therefore, these looks don’t have to go to waste, thankfully. I kept my smile, drawing back a tendril of hair, and fiddling with one of my earrings that had come slightly loose. Yep, both my ears are pierced, top to bottom, and I’m probably the only guy who does have them like that. A result of too much time on my hands, but I must admit, I did do a good job with that.
Okay, so my introduction wasn’t as visionary as it could have been, but hey. She didn’t exactly present me with the right situation either, but in order to accomplish this feat, I had to be a master of all situations. I quickly composed myself for the range of assults I knew were coming. â€You’re right, my introduction was lacking, wasn’t it? I apologize.†Even dripping wet, she had potential. Did I mention that she was soaked? And that every inch of that clothing clung to her. And that she was wearing a white shirt(the latter had caught my eye long before) She was promising alright, I had decided it would become my personal objective to have some fun with this one. She seemed entertaining enough. You know, I really don’t think she realized what she looked like, because if she was, I don’t figure she’s still be facing me looking like that. Hmm, must have hit her once my gaze dropped a fraction of an inch. Or maybe her dragon kindly informed her, because she growled and made her way for the side. Obviously not used to being in situations like this, now are we? Nah, because if she was, she wouldn’t look half as irritated or sheepish as she did.
{I hate to interupt you, but not many people are comfortable being around others while still indecent, N’sis} Why not, if you have the body, why not show it off? {Perhaps they are just modest?} Bah, modest is just another polite way of saying they are ashamed of themselves. That’ll be the day I’m ever ashamed of myself!
Modest? It was really ridiculous, it wasn’t like I cared, I actually liked this new look on her. It was interesting to say the least. The very least. She started to pull herself up, and I stepped forward, to offer her a hand up. I figured she wouldn’t take it anyway, but I could certainly offer. Like I said, she started to pull herself up, and then stopped, and threw me a cross look. She must have noticed I wasn’t wearing anything but a towel. Well, I had been bathing, and this towel was the only thing I had. And I could imagine what kind of look she would have given me if I hadn’t had wrapped it around me first. Therefore, she shouldn’t have looked so surprised. She received a grin for her comment. â€Not selling them, I’m a generous guy. I’ll give you my towel, if that’s what you really want.†Resisting an urge to snicker after that, I watched her coolly as she scrambled out, and strode past me in a huff, grabbing her boots from the floor and turning to face me. “Nice meeting you, dragonrider. I hope we never meet again.†Well, that was one way to say goodbye, but I wasn’t all that bad. Really, I wasn’t. Taking a slight bow(just for kicks) I looked up at her and flashed her a smile. â€Au contraire, Greenrider. I do sincerely hope we meet again. Or rather, I know we will.†I paused, thought over my words carefully, and just followed her lead. â€Ah, and about that introduction, the name’s N’sis, and I wouldn’t mind the pleasure of knowing yours.†Of course, I already knew it, but that was beside the point.
Only you will know I am as real as can be I'm the final words you'll read I'll be the end of your story N ' S I S Doubt everything you've never shown me

Veralidaine nodded in acceptance of his apology. "Apology accepted." Her fingers curled around her boots as she waited to see if he had anything else to say. Luckily she hadn't commented on him as he offered to give her his towel. That could have ended poorly. If Wesayath hadn't been there, she would have never held her tongue for so long when rude retort's came flying to her mouth, just ready to be snapped back at him. She tensed as he predicted that they would bump into one another again. If it took them this long to meet, who said they would see each other for a long time. She wasn't too worried about it, until he asked for her name.
Just give it to him! I thought you were on my side! I am...but you cannot just say no to something like that. And just why not? It's rude...and, and-- Exactly. Rude is usually what gets people off my back. But, people are not usually on your back. It's an expession, Wes. Oh, well I still say give him your name. Fine, but that doesn't mean I'm going to call him by his. For now at least... What was that? Nothing...just talk to him already.
Daine blinked in confusion but shook it off. It was something she could think about at a later time. Instead, she focused back on N'sis. "Daine, if it so pleases you, dragonrider. I would also be grateful if this meeting were either to be forgotten or never spoken of after I walk out of the Springs. I hope you will help me out on your part." She smirked, the closest thing he would probably get to a smile for awhile. As she turned to leave, Wesayath stopped her in mid-motion. The green apparently was fond of the man, much to Veralidaine's disbelief and frustration. Now they would be seeing more of each other if Wes wants to know more about him.
What? Invite him to the feeding grounds or the dining hall or something. Were you not here for the last five turns? I don't like men, or women, and asking him to have a chance to actually have a conversation with each other would ruin everything I've done to show the Weyr that I'm not like the other greenriders. Right, you've proved that. But how about just this once? Please? For me? You've got to be kidding me... I won't mention this ever again if you do. Mention what? A man finding you in that condition in the Springs because of your carelessness. I could spread it to the rest of the dragons in the Weyr. I don't give a shard what others hear or think about me. Then why did you ask that he didn't tell anyone? Because then people will talk to me, and I don't want that. I'm fine just how it is right now. Fine, I'll go tell them now. Starting with L'nuo and S'hon's dragons. Wait, wait! I'll ask! Just...don't. Go ask then. I am, sheesh.
Daine cleared her throat and turned around. "I'm going up to my weyr to change, but afterwards I'm headed towards the...dining hall. Do you want to meet me there? If not that's fine." She waited for his answer, knowing that Wesayath was quite pleased that she had actuallya asked.

I am the reason why the innocent are slaughtered I am the laughing lie that's never uncovered
“Apology accepted.†Okay, wonderful. At least I was getting somewhere, even if it did happen to be a small step(not that I didn’t expect it anyway). But it was a small step in the right direction. Good things come to those who wait, and I had both the patience and the skill, unlike her former entourage, if she had had any at all. The way she acted suggested that she hadn’t, but then again, maybe she just had amateurs. That would be just like one of those sharding idiots, ruining everything with their lack of finesse. Several facts led me to believe this, the first being the resentful look on her face when I had brought up the comment about my towel. I was just teasing her, although you know, if she really wanted my towel, I wouldn’t have had any problem giving it to her, really. Like I said, I’m a generous guy. However I was quite sure that wasn’t going to fly with her too well, and I(like always) was right, although she didn’t spit out the acid insults, on the part of her dragon, obviously. The second thing I noticed was the way she stiffened when I asked of her name. Now that made me slightly curious. It wasn’t an unusual request. What, did she not want to tell me because she thought I was going to try and track her down? Well, I was going to hunt her down, whether she told me her name or not, that minor inadvantage wasn’t going to stop me. Well, she didn’t seem like she hated me , after all, she had stuck around this long(of course she had, who could walk away from a pretty face like mine?) Eh, what could I do about it? If she didn’t give it to me, I’d always be able to recognize that face. I never forgot a woman’s face.
It seemed she had a change of heart, either that or once again, her Green had stepped in, because she turned around and faced me, and I couldn’t help but smirk at her next comment. So, Daine was it. And she refused to call me by my name, but that was alright. Eventually she would, for now, I would wait. As well as imploring that I forgot our little encounter. â€Daine, is it? A pleasure. And I can promise you that I won’t speak aloud of our lovely rendezvous, however I can’t say that I will forget it. I rather enjoyed our little meeting.†And she turned to leave, yet again. And yet again, she paused. And yet again, I was left to watch with mild curiousity. This just had to be the work of her Green.
They are quite the pair, these two {Yes, I tried to tell you, Mine. Daine isn’t exactly what you’d call a social butterfly. I think Wesayath is the only one keeping her from leaving} I kinda figured that one out already, Saeraphina. I wonder what’s up that made her like that anyway. I could understand not being the “conversation†type, but she got all edgy when I asked her name {Maybe she’s just not a people person} She reminds me of Crysannia..
She did remind me of my sister. In more ways then one, and I began to count how many similiarites, just out of the lack of anything else to do at the moment while she was caught up with Wesayath. And when she turned around, she had hit me with something quite unexpected, even though I knew it was partially the Green’s doing(again) Jeez, I do have to remember to thank her sometime or other, she really was a sweetheart. And persuaded by her or not, she had just asked me to the Dining Hall. Of course this was a rather promising development. You have to think of it this way: she could have always ignored Wesayath, couldn’t she? Therefore, she must have been coming around, at least a little. Why the surprise? It was Eventually she had to fall, no woman can resist my allure. Where do you think my prestige comes from? I smiled coolly. â€I’ve never been able to turn down an invitation from a pretty face. Sure, I’ll meet you there.â€
