Amneris smiled at the thought of music. She loved it. Her life revolved around its very existance. "I don't mean to brag, but I am one of the best apprentice singers around. " Her smile remained as she leaned over and picked her guitar up. Her fingers gently stroked a couple chords, softly. The music made a noise that was relaxing and reminiscent of the beach.
Neris let her voice combine in its own form with the gitar, gently it rose to its higher pitches. The song sounded a bit melancholy at fist then rose to amore hopeful climax. Her voice sounded like a child's, pure and true to every note. Her voice carried throughtout the cavern as she continued to weave the sounds of the gitar and her voice together.
The words were unimportant for if Amneris was good at anything it was singing, her gitar skill was mediocre at best, but her voice. That was the one thing she knew she was good at and the one thing she had confidance in. Her eyes had closed when she reached the middle of the song. Note looked at her and every so often piped in. Her flit was laying on her shoulder listening quietly though he seemed to like the vibrations coming from her voice box.
She concluded the song well, without flaw, except for a couple missed gitar chords that were hardly noticeable by a non harper.

K'mar laughed. "Go ahead and brag, I don't mind." He flashed a grin, and then sat back to wait silently for the candidate to sing. Her voice was indeed quite lovely, and he closed his eyes to block out all other sounds and pictures other than the song. Since he wasn't a harper and probably had no skill in singing whatsoever, he didn't have a clue that she had made a few minor errors. To him, it was perfect. Opening his eyes, the bronzerider smiled and gave a small applause, trying to keep it quiet for those who were still asleep. "Beautiful. You have every right to brag." His charming grin reappeared that seemed to make his eyes sparkle with laughter.
Wish crooned from her perch, clearly proving what K'mar had just said. "It seems Wish enjoyed the song too." The green sent a quick image to K'mar of a beach and soft waves beating against the shore. So, that was what she had imagined, just as the bronzerider had. Talzynth piped in his agreement, and K'mar had to laugh. "Talzynth too, as did I. Thank you for that beautiful song." His eyes scanned empty weyrhall, getting a bit lighter by the minute. It was getting really late, and soon the sun would rise. "We should both probably catch some sleep now. Morning is not too far away." He smiled and stood from the couch. His hand extended to her, offering Amneris a hand to stand up. "It was nice meeting you, and I hope to see you again sometime like this."
With that, the bronzerider shook her hand and turned to leave back to his weyr.
